Ron Barsano was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Immediately after high school he started a five-year intense, fine art program at the American Academy of Art, studying drawing and painting. Ron moved to Taos, New Mexico, in 1970 and became one of the co-founders of the famous "Taos Six."
